Trim discoloration

I have a 2015 Itasca 27n in a i think they call it sand exterior. It is a light tan. The trim around the slides is starting to discolor. Wondering if anyone has found a product that returns the trim to its original color.

The Sun's heat and UV radiation just eats some plastic fittings if they don't have enough or any UV protestants. Also, some colors like reds fade very quickly to pink in the sun.

I don't know of anything that will restore the color or character of the plastic bits. You can slow/prevent the UV damage by using a protestant. Sorry don't have a suggestion as to product.

I have a 2016 27n and have the same problem.

Most of the trim around the slide will come off. I am planning to repaint them and then reinstall. That have some paints designed for plastic. I don't know if it will hold up or not.

Good luck with yours

Bill
