Cool Trik-l-start

Where the heck is the TRIK-L-START located in my Winnebago Adventurer Limited on a UFO chassis? It's not in the battery compartment or in front anywhere. Anybody know?

Richard

Had no idea this item was something found "new" on the Winny. I have one, but I purchased it from a third party RV supply store, installed it and use it to keep the battery charged and such. I put mine in the only compartment that has an electric plug and then ran the charge wire out and under the coach to the batteries. I have to manually set it up to charge and use.

I believe that the Trik-L-Start is standard equipment on Winnebago diesels since 2006, but I don't know if they install them on gas rigs. It's very easy to install yourself if you don't have one.

Cbeierl I am not totally sure, but I believe all Adventure's are gas powered. The UFO model could be a diesel, but I have also seen that they can be gas.

Yup, I agree that the Adventurer Limited on the UFO chassis is gas powered. I don't know whether or not Winne put a Trik-L-Start on them. Unfortunately the wiring diagrams for the 2008 Adventurer Limited seem to be missing from the Winnebago site. Hopefully a call to Winnebago Support can supply them if needed.

Send a message via Yahoo to JayLodge
Mine is in the enclosed compartment just above the charger in the shore power cable compartment.

Our 2008 Destination does not have the Trik-l-Star. Must have been an option.

Richard, I found mine quite by accident when I was looking for the slide control boxes. Mine is located behind the panel with the reset buttons for the 12 volt slide circuits in the right rear compartment where your shoreline 110 v electric cable is stored. I didn't even know I had one since it is not listed anywhere.

Found it! Talked to Winnebago, they said I didn't have one. Ha! I found it behind the circuit breaker reset buttons panel (6 screws) in the rear shore power input compartment. It's where rca said he found his. Thanks for the all the comments.
