TPS values on Itasca Meridian 34H?

My CAT 7 on the Meridian is showing a low HP on a ScanGuageD. I have been trying to check out the range of possible factors.

I noted that the range of TPS values are from 0 to 65. I could understand 0 to 63 or 1 to 64.

My HP indicated by the ScanGuageD is as reported from the ECU, and is nominally 166hp. Given that is approximately 1/2 of the rated engine hp of 330, I am suspicious and would like to eliminate input from the TPS. If for example, the TPS range should be 0-127, then the observed values would support the lower max hp.

While the last trip was relatively flat land, I did try to bypass the TPS by using cruise control, but there were few hills which might demand more that 166hp. However running cruise, I noticed a higher hp reading of 176hp.

I tried talking with CAT, and they said they did not provide the TPS. Freightliner said they had no real information on the TPS, and suggested that I contact Winnebago. I have, via email, but with no results as of yet.

Does anyone have a better understanding of the TPS sensor range? The most valuable information for me at this moment would be to know the range of valid TPS inputs.

Problem Solved

So when I started to pull the pedals from the floor, I found a stealth piece of sheet metal, which kept the gas pedal from being fully depressed.

I will have some disassembly to do to properly fix things, but the bottom line is that I got the sheet metal out of the way so that the gas pedal can be fully depressed.

Furthermore, I established that the max pedal number I now read is 97, and the min varies between 0 and 2.

Took the rig to Green Lake State Park last weekend for a long weekend, and the rig has much more power on the on-ramps. I guess I laid off punching it too much because the fuel economy there and back was 8.9 for each leg.
