Thank You HWH

Couple of weeks ago our slides would not retract. However, starting the engine and holding switch in the retract position made the slides retract. Called HWH tech support, did several different diagnostic tests. We also discussed a leveler problem that we have been experiencing for several years. Our excess slope light would come on before the levelers even started to extend.

HWH recommended a new shuttle valve for the leveler problem and a reconditioned control panel for the slides problem. The old shuttle valve showed damage to the center o-ring. The slides are back to doing their job properly. The leveler sound better than ever but need some minor adjustments.

We are very impressed with the help we received from HWH.

Wow!! Your experience with them was much better than ours. Last summer we had a problem with our system where the slideouts and the levelers would not work. We never could get in touch with anyone at HWH. We could only leave messages. Finally after 10 days they returned my call for help.

By that time I had already diagnosed the problem, found a replacement part at a local RV dealer and repaired it myself. I'm just glad I wasn't stuck somewhere and really needed their help. It would have made my life much easier had they been more responsive.

But the bright side is that it forced me to learn more about the hydraulic system and how it works.

Maybe they aren't as busy in the winter. Our experience with HWH has been great.

(knocking on wood)

Had the same experience with HWH. The rear slide wouldn't come in and I called them to discuss my diagnosis. Seems they are seriously back-ordered on slide solenoids, but I found one down the street. They not only called back to see how my fix did, they also sent a review letter of the discussions and resolutions.

I posted my praise for HWH on another thread. They helped me with problems that I was having with the hydraulic hoses on my slides. They ended up coming to my site three times and fixing a variety of issues. I cannot praise their service enough!

I have had excellent experiences with HWH and their support, both over the phone and at the factory. Many of the recent complaints about the lack of support or poor response coincide with the down turn in the RV industry and the business related cut backs they had to make in order to survive as a business. I think we all want the RV industry to come back and bring along companies like HWH who have provided excellent customer support in the past.

I too have had great customer service. I have called on three different problems, and each time they asked for a number I could be reached. A tech then calls back! Always been helpful !
