Strap for drivers side door

Just had carpeting replaced in our Winnebago Chieftain 1999. The installer disconnected the fabric strap at bottom of drivers side door. I cant see where it was attached. Does anyone know where it would be attached to?

Call your carpet installer back and have him/her re-attach the strap. Otherwise, you might get some help by calling Winnebago Customer Assistance, at Winnebago's HQ at 1-800-537-1885. Ask for Troy or Eric, they're pretty nice guys and most helpful but they deal mostly with new warranty issues, so be patient... they're young fellas.

This should do it. And yes, your carpet installer did remove it and hopefully he has the bracket that retains it to the floor with the two phillips head screws.

The screw holes will be visible underneath. At least mine were, and it looks like the picture above. I pushed an awl up through the holes.

Have you changed bath fixtures yet? If so how did you access the bath tap? Ours are starting to dull and we would like to change them.

No, I have never touched the plumbing. Are your taps the gold plastic ones?

Yes they are the gold plastic ones which of course means we can't polish them. I haven't been able to find out how to access the plumbing behind the taps. Was wondering if the little hatch around the taps comes off to allow access. it doesn't seem like there is any way to access from the hallway.
