I want to install the SteerSafe system on the W24 that my new Voyage is sitting on. So far 2 RV service shops have told me that the Workhorse will not handle it. They say the bottom ball joints/ kingpins will wear and the tie rods flex too much. I find this hard to believe! Maybe they just want to sell a system that costs $400.00 more?
Any comments?

Horse pucky.... I have had Steer Safe on my W22 for over 3 years and I have no ball joint or tie rod issues. With front and rear trac bars my coach drives like a car, almost boring.

Me, I would ask for the owners names so I call and verfiy their claims. Why don't you call Steer Safe and ask them...1-800-845-5504

Steersafe seems to be a pretty common update on W series chassis. Do a find on Steersafe and you can read a lot of posts about it.

I had it on my 2000 35U and it was/is fantastic. I'm calling the factory this morning for their opinion. I know they offer the system for the W24

Finhawk, let us know what the factory says. I am considering putting one on my W 24 Pace arrow.

They have the system for the W24. I ordered it this morning. $440 with shipping I can't see going with anything complicated after having SS before and loving it
