Squeaking door noise
We have a 2011 view.
The cabin door has a constant squeaking noise while on the road. It’s less on the Interstates but more on the smaller roads.
I hope there’s a solution out there.

The same with my driver's door. I put some silicone lube on the weather stripping but it doesn't seem to have helped. I read on one site that talcum powder would work but haven't tried it.
If it's not the weather stripping it could be something inside the door, etc.
I have a number of squeaks and rattles I need to track down.

When I get this problem I put grease on the striker pin - the large pin on the door that latches in the jam.
Works for about 6 months - then I need to do it again when I hear squeaking.

How about driver-side window rattles?

Check and see if it's the screen and not the window. If it's the screen see if it's racked out of shape. If it is, simply put pressure on the sides to square it up.

Our screen door on the entry door used to rattle quite a bit. There was a kick panel at the bottom of the screen door that was floating in the screen frame. It acted like a drum to amplify this metallic rattle while driving.
I put a bead of silicon adhesive between the panel and the edges of the door frame. This completely eliminated the annoying noise.
I hate rattles and squeaks while I'm driving and any sound while I'm driving will have my wife up and searching for the noise. Once found we try all sorts of things to eliminate the offending sound.
Now, if I could just get rid of the pot holes in these roads and the rotten bridge transitions.

Have had Door squeaks on my coach since I bought it. During our first 2,000 mile trip it drove me to find it and kill it. Finally found the squeak.
The door latch was squeaking on contact to the latch post. First I tried silicon lube, that lasted maybe 300 miles. Tried grease, lasted a little longer. Cleaned the post completely and ran 2 layers of black electrical tape around it. I get about 2500 miles out of each replacement. Starts squeaking, i just rip off the old tape and put a new 2 layers on.
Squeaks and rattles drive me nuts.

Having been in the collusion business I ran across all sorts of fixes for squeaky-this-an-that. Wurth (and others) makes a striker with a hard plastic sleeve (roller) over the striker. They work great for a couple of years in a car and probably longer in an RV.
They were not suggested for use because of side impact guidelines, but I don't think side impacts come into play in an RV coach door.

I looked at the Wurth website and couldn't find anything. Can you provide a link to what you're suggesting?
In the meantime, I taped both my driver's and entry door latches last night.

I see quite a few listings online under "door latch bushing" but it looks like the sizes vary. I think I'll go with the tape for now.
