Source for trim parts
I had an unfortunate accident while parking my 31’ 2003 Itasca Spirit in a campground spot designed for a much shorter RV. The result was the loss of a trim end cap. The piece I need is this one:
A friend suggested that I could get this from Winnebago, but that the shipping costs would be high. I have tried to source it though Google, but haven’t found anything. Can someone point me to a source for this part?

Is it plastic or aluminum?
If you can't find one online or nearby, maybe ask an eaves trough/rain gutter installer if they could make one for you?
It looks like a simple enough part, and those guys have to make all sorts of fittings and parts to different specs.

Why don't you contact Winnebago and find out for sure?

a couple of suggestions. first, I echo Bob C's suggestion to call Winnie parts and find out the cost plus shipping. second, you might call Lichtsinn Motors in Forest City and check pricing. If still too high for you and you're heading kinda sorta in that direction and can wait that picking up the part is an option. lastly, if a used part is OK try https://www.colawrvsalvage.com/ in Carthage MO. good luck.

I'd also check a local RV repair shop, particularly an RV body shop. It might be a generic trim piece and not Winnebago-specific.

Thanks for all the great suggestions. I have sent in an inquiry to Winnebago. I will post what they reply. The part is plastic, and the worst case is that it could be 3-D printed, but I am sure I won’t need to go that far.

Resolution
Well, I found the part in the Winnebago parts list, inquired directly to winnebago and they quoted me $28.85 plus shipping. The RV salvage place denied having the part, because they had no 2003 Itasca Spirits, though I probably should have pushed them since the part was probably used on many models for many years. I then searched Amazon, and found the number I was looking for was actually for the driver side (and I needed the passenger side). I ordered the correct part through Amazon (from Winnebago) for the $28.85 plus tax and shipping. More than I wanted to pay, but not terrible. Thanks again for everyone’s help.
