snap pads for 2017 Vista LX 27N

Thought it was a good idea to purchase these. RV dealer was out so they ordered them for me. they don't fit. not only do they not fit my RV when i looked on website they don't fit any Winnebago camper as they are not listed on drop down menu.
1) are they not needed for Winnebago?
2)we will return them but what do we use? i have heard Disney won't let you put down levelers without. don't plan on going there so no big deal but are there other places that won't let you stay?

I have SnapPads on mine, same exact model as yours.

There is a video on YouTube with a guy that has these “raised sides” on the snap pad.

https://youtu.be/S8AhbG_WSzw

Looks like they ordered the wrong ones?

I also have snap pads but my jack feet do not have raised sides.

Best,

NHGeezer

Mine are LCI, not sure what you have but best thing is to measure across the top of the pad, then go here and enter the requested information. Then you can order them there or Amazon or dealer or wherever you choose.

In general I would never go to a dealer to purchase an item widely available on the internet for a good price without dealer markup. And installing these are super easy DIY. I have them on my Winnebago and installation took maybe 15-20 mins tops.

Unfortunately, dealers are not well acquainted with RVs and the parts you need. Best not to think of them as a good source for just about anything.

In the video the folks doing them ordered the wrong ones first. I will return the ones I have and get the correct ones. Thank you again

Build pads yourself

We had a friend who built us four 12/12 wooden blocks we can place under our jacks to keep from putting them directly on the ground as a thank you for something we did. They have a short rope on one side to pull them out with when packing up.

Simple and cheap.

Never have bothered with them. I use wood blocks, which we would use with the pads so I question the value of them. (Blocks prevent your jacks from have to overly extend)

I felt the same way until I installed the Snap Pads, now I wouldn't be without them. I still have 4 2' long 2x8 blocks onboard and can put them under the pads if needed, but not having to get out and set the blocks and then pull them out when leaving was worth the price of admission. Especially when Wallydocking or when it's raining out. They add about an inch to the jacks, so just .5" less than my blocks add.

Just pull into a spot, get as level as I can, put the jacks down and level. Easy peasy
