Slow power window

We are new here. Just got a 2003 Adventurer - love it!
But the driver window is going up/down very slow.
Any tips? Thx!

I have a 04 Brave doing the same thing. I was going to take the panel off and look to see if I can see anything but have been too busy working for the warden I mean wife.

My '04 Adventurer is slow too.

I took it all apart, lubed it, and improved the routing of the cable, it was bent pretty tightly.

That made it a little better, but still slow.

I also rewired it using some auto up/down modules I grabbed at the junkyard. It's still slow, but at least I don't have to hold the button the whole time. (It wasn't a plug and play thing, quite a bit of wiring, and a new switch. You can google the modification, people use modules from 90's Tauruses and Pontiacs.)
