slide parts

Purchased a 2001 Winnebago Brave 30W a few months ago and have been checking it over and doing some camping. I went down a rough road the other day and when I moved the slide I found this piece with a sheet metal screw in it anyone know what it does and is it important.

I see this is your first post. Welcome to the forum! Well, I’m stumped, but I’m sure others may have an idea what that connects to. Best of luck! If it helps, I have a sandwich bag for “spare” screws and such I’ve found since owning my motorhome. So far, it’s stayed in one piece! :-)
