Seal between cab and cabover

My husband says he could see light coming past that seal to the inside. What's the fix? It seems unlikely that it can be reached well enough for caulking. Does the seal get removed and replaced or is another added in front of the existing one? Thanks, all!

To be clear, we had to remove the bunk plywood as it was rotted. He was looking forward between the headliner and the cabover. The headliner has since been resecured.
