I just got a new remote for our 2004 Meridian and went to program it. First step in the process is to "Locate the Keyless Remote Controller in the coach" -- and I don't have a clue where it is. Before I start tearing into stuff, I thought I would ask the experts! If anyone knows where the controller is located in the coach, I would greatly appreciate your help.

I think mine is behind the instrument cluster; sitting in the driver's seat, it would be to the back left toward the windshield behind the cluster. Need to remove the back cover of the instrument cluster to see it. Access is from the top of the dash once the back cover is removed. Has a wire for an antenna.

Had the cover off the other day to replace the monitor; noticed it by the wire antenna extending from it.

The remote on my 2002 Ultimate Advantage is located in the compartment in front of the wheel on the driver's side. This is the compartment where a lot of the electrical connections are made. The "auto" fuse box is in it as is a lot of the breakers for the MH. This is also where the amp for the sound system is located.

Mine is also located left front of wheel compartment as David K's is.

What Don said...
Also make sure you straighten up the antenna while you're in there. Someone thought mine needed to be 50% loading coil.

And while I was in the dash, I did just what Jeff said: straightened the wire out.
