Screeching Slide on 2005 Sightseer

Long-time screeching putting the Dinette slide in/out ... By chance, I happened to see a developing scratch along the rear storage box when the slide was extended.

I found an “L-bend" steel bracket holding the gas pipe was made too long and was now twisted outward, contacting the storage box, making a big metal-on-metal scraping noise.

I removed bracket, straightened it, and bent the end of the “L” up at a 45 deg angle for more clearance. The pix shows the bracket BEFORE the modification.
