I have been using one for several years and have had no problem after they replaced a defective one I purchased.

ScanGauge

I've been using the ScanGauge D for one year (mostly for the trans temp and MPG) with no problems.

Used one for about 5 years, all it does is read what is out out by the computers and gauges on board. The only interaction would be the ability to clear codes, other wise all it does is give readouts of gauges you have and then the nice part gauges you don't but info is there. And instead of a swinging needle you get real readouts in digital form.

Thanks for Info

My gauges on the UA 40J don't have any numbers all I get is low normal and high or cool normal and hot it would be nice to see the real pressure and temp don't know why Winnebago installed these type of gauges what were they thinking.

Thanks for the info will pick one up this week.

I can answer that question for you. The reason for high, low, normal, gauges is to keep people from getting nervous about temps and pressures. If you have a water temp. of 245 deg. Chevy says that is normal operational range. (in a climb) On the factory gauge that will be in a normal range. If you look down and see normal, you don't panic out. If you have a temp gauge and see 245 deg. many people freak out. The phone calls to the dealership and factory begin. It just makes their workload lighter.
