Rust on 2017 Vista

Hi, all... new owner here. Our new-to-us 2017 Vista has some rust underneath and on the rims. Curious how others have dealt with this problem. It appears to just be surface rust in most spots, with the exception of the jack springs and some pipes, which seem to be worse. Thanks!

Okay, those are some cattywampus images, but, unless you bought your rig brand new off of the Winnebago floor, these have been sitting around, in various climates, and locations, subject to the elements, as your rig will be too.

Steel rusts.

I’ve spent a good deal of time coating everything underneath with Rustoleum. Not a panacea, but it helps thwart further degradation.

Same here. I go under the rig with a can of rust oleum every year. I found a lot the first year, a little more last year, and none this year, so I guess it’s working!
