What is the best means to get the old sealer off the old fan and roof? It was factory installed with the self leveling type of caulking they use on every thing on the roof and edges.

Use a razor blade to remove the old sealer, some lacquer thinner to clean up the surfaces, and use the same type of self levelling silicone to re-seal it all back in place for best results. Sealer should be available from your dealer.
GL: I have used the C-10 Flow Sealer, self leveling caulk sealant, with all my roof projects. This is available at your local trailer store. Great product.
Answer to removal is the brand new razor blade(s).
We have tried the C-10 before and found that it did not stay as flexible as the Nuflex 311 that comes from Winnebago. The C-10 seemed to harden up and become hard and not pliable.
We just purchased a preowned 05 Winnebago Voyage that has a fiberglass roof and was wondering if Eternabond tape could be used if and when we need to do roof work?

Other than checking the seams where the fiberglass roof sheet meets the aluminum rail at the side, the rest of the roof should be OK for a number of years yet.
