Some say you should remove all the old sealant before resealing, but I checked the manufacturers site and it indicated it would stick to silicone. So, after cleaning thoroughly with mineral spirits and alcohol, I was able to repair by adding sealant to the existing, and it adhered really good. If you need to patch I would give that a try first, though age may be a factor in whether it will stick to existing sealant.

I agree and, when I did mine, I used Eternabond tape on all my roof fixtures after re-sealing. I think you'll find that the Winnebago part number cross references to Nuco 331 Silicone. If the sealant for a fitting (vent, etc.) is in really bad condition, it's best to remove the fitting, clean everything up and start over from scratch. Piling on gobs and gobs of sealant over old is not only ugly and wasteful, it doesn't work very well.
