Retract Steps workaround

Itasca Navion 24V Profile-

After hours of trying to make our retractable steps work and after reading all the angst about these steps in this blog, we purchased a Rubber maid 2 tier folding step stool from Walmart. It fits perfectly, does not block door opening/closing, and rides closed up perfectly in the step well when we are under way.

Some times old reliable no tech trumps high tech.
