Question Removal of engine cover for 1996 Winnebago Adventurer

I am trying to figure out how to remove the engine cover on a 1996 or 1997 Winnebago Adventurer. It is on a 1997 Ford F-Super Duty.

I might expect to find a fastener set down into the carpeting somewhere near center front of the doghouse that might need a big allen key to turn to release it. May be somewhat hard to find if not used much so feeling carefully may find it or running a magnet may also find the metal.
I might also expect this to be covered in the owners manual and the big key is often transfered with the vehicle in a big case of info. Any chance you have that case of stuff?

The Allen wrench would be 1/4" or 5/16" if I remember correctly. I am pretty sure it is not a 3/8".
