Rad leak

Hi all. I have a weird problem with my 96 adventurer on a Ford chassis with a 460. When I fill the rad overflow tank to proper level I get a leak from somewhere on the rad that leaks onto rad cradle. It stops when the overflow goes down to the cold level. But when I remove the rad cap the rad is full and no more leak. Its not coming from the overflow tank.
Anyone had this issue?
Thanks
