Need some work done on coach , new windshield ($250 co-pay), new fabric on awning, new inverter . Leaving CA end February and could head to either on way home any advice on campsites / companies and generally places to hang out would be appreciated, in fact any advice on anything RV would be appreciated thanks Jim
We have been to both, and by far prefer Yuma. Plenty of RV related services, and much more to see and do. If you are in Quartzsite you are very limited in your choices. Last time we were in Yuma we stayed at Araby Acres. It is convenient to all of the area. Make sure to walk over to Los Algodones for at least a day.

At the end of February, Quartzsite will be winding down and many vendors will be gone. Yuma may be a better choice. I stayed on BLM land at Imperial Damn, which is 20 ish miles from Yuma, it's free if you can boondock. Also free boondocking at the indian casinos. Others may have better info on parks. I had Shade Pro replace my awning while I was in Yuma. Some others may be cheaper, but I had a little issue on how it opened. I saw shade pro at the Oregon Good Sam rally. I told them my problem, and they came out that afternoon and did the adjustment at no cost. Appears to me to be customer friendly.
We are at Imperial Dam now. The LTVA requires a $40/2 week permit. Hard to find free 14 day sites around Imperial Dam. Yuma winds down also after the first of March, still going strong now. There are more glass places in Quartzsite now that will be open for at least another month.
Any recommendations for a fogged door window. I would like it repaired instead of replaced.
