Primer for Adhesives?

I'm new here, so if this topic has been beat to death in the past, just remove my post. That being said:
There is endless great information on here about sealants, sealing techniques, etc. I'm not asking about that.
On the Winnebago callout sheets for proper techniques, the word "primer" shows up quite often. At first, I thought it meant paint primer. So, I looked it up. Apparently, many adhesives and sealants REQUIRE a correct adhesive primer to make it work properly. The callout sheets have the item numbers, but in all my research, I've never seen anyone talk about it. I wonder if omitting this supposedly vital step is the cause for frequent failures. I'd like to use it, but...how? Where do you get it? How much do you use?
It's as if this step has been totally ignored, things go bad, and everyone blames the adhesive, even though nobody actually followed the directions!
Somebody straighten me out.
Harry

What are these call out sheets you referenced? Winnie told me that the dealer likely forgot to use an adhesive in the inside of my window and I’d like to see if it’s shown somewhere.

I just do a search for "Winnebago product information", and the page pops up.
Scroll past where you enter information, down to the list of what you want to see.
This is a simplified version , but it's all there.
There is a more detailed version, but Im at work, so don't have the info right now. It was not hard to find, at any rate. Sorry.

Thanks. I found the callout sheets but the windows aren’t identified. Oh well.

Call Winnebago or check out call out sheets for newer models. In fact, the newer the model year, the more up to date the materials will be, technologically.
