Part # request - HWH - slide/cargo bolt

I need to figure out the PN for this... I called HWH - have not received a call back. Can't find it anywhere in the diagrams.

It connects the storage compartments below the slide - to the slide arm itself.

I broke/bent both when I had to rebuild the slide cylinders...

My other option is just weld two bolts together if I can't figure it out...

Your best bet is to contact Paul Maddox, aka azpete. Paul is a Winnieowners member and an HWH employee. He's helped a lot of us out and publishes his direct email address and phone number, so don't be bashful: (602-549-3638) and direct email address,

[email protected]

If you can ID the model of your slide, all the better.

I would think that bolt is a Winnebago part, HWH has no say in what is bolted to their slide mechanism, or how. The only HWH limitation is a maximum weight supported by the slide mechanism of 300# and the weight of the slide proper.

I called Winnebago parts place. They said it’s HWH part since it attaches to slide. Couldn’t find it in any Winnebago diagram either.

Google now has the capability for you to search by picture, but I don't know if the bend will affect the search.

Nice work! I wonder if you could've drilled the lower hole larger and just used a single, larger diameter bolt? In any case, it's done and works, so....

I thought about that - and getting some allthread - but then figured it would be probably more work and more money. There isn't much weight on these... so the welds should be fine!

Was that angle iron already bent like that or did whatever bent the bolt also bend the angle iron?
