Parking brake issue

Hello folks,
I have a 2005 voyage 33'.
My parking brake works, but the light will not go off when I set the brake. When thag happens I can not lower my jacks. I am wondering how I can jumper the switch on the brake? I can lower the jacks when I put tbe ignitiln in the accsesory position. Just curious how can I jump this out? Thanks in advance.

I don't know if your parking brake on a gas chassis works in the same way as it does on a diesel chassis, but I'm guessing it does since the principles of the HWH Jack Systems are the same.

However, I can only offer information about my DP; and frankly I can't give you I conclusive way to start your diagnosis, but I bet someone else in this forum can build on the following information I can share with you.

Starting with the Parking Brake LED status light #35, I think the LED light should be illuminated when the brake is set, but IDK?

That said, the LED light should be "off" when you release the parking brake.

Can someone clarify this? ...And then go on to explain what sort of ground wire "work around" there maybe for the OP?

Note: You might start by pulling the Brown "CN2" plug, clean the contacts with electrical contact cleaner, and then reattaching it.

However, I would like to know if an additional ground wire can be added since we all know the HWH system suffers from weak grounds after many years of use?
