Outlook Awning Won't Retract

The awning on our new-to-us 2019 Outlook 31N does not retract. We can get it to come back in by continuing to hold "Out" but "In" does nothing. It worked a couple of weeks ago when we picked it up. The sales guy told us to never run it past the fully extended position when going out. We didn't, until we had to when we were breaking camp last week. Two questions: 1) is it really bad to go past fully extended? We did this in our old TT frequently. 2) I have a 90 day warranty but would this be a simple switch replacement? The dealer is an hour away and I'd prefer not to take it back if I don't have to.

Thanks in advance!
