Observation

I have recently purchased a replacement filter for my sink goose neck faucet and had to replace a light bulb. The filter is a 3M product and is not available at any of the "normal" stores; Camping World, WalMart, Target, Lowes or Home Depot. I was able to find it on line. The bulb was not hard to find but the cost was beyond reasonable. Why does Winnebago use products for which the parts and pieces are hard to find or easy to find and expensive?

We have the Winnebago version on your coach, the 08 Vectra. I bought our replacement filter at Home Depot. The light bulb you are replacing is probably the same kind I had to replace when we were at GNR. The ones over the bathroom sink cost $.80 apiece, but the one over the kitchen sink, is an LED, was $9.00. And that was at the customer service store at the factory. I understand you can get them cheaper elsewhere, but I haven't explored that yet. Just be sure to wear gloves when you replace the LED bulb, and DON'T touch it with your fingers or it will ruin it.

Glenda, I suspect that you mean halogen rather than LED.

I stand corrected. I thought the guy at the service counter called it an LED bulb. Regardless, it still cost $9.00.

I've purchased bulbs for my Winnie from auto parts stores and Lowe's.

The small globe light bulbs, bayonet base, are available at Wal-Mart RV section. About $1.00 a piece.

I've found the halogen bulbs for the bedroom area at Lowes in the yard lighting section. They have the 10w (I think they are) 12v bulbs for yard lights. I understand they have changed the undersink filter. Mine uses the Everpure filter, but my coach is also now 6 model years old!

I’ve often heard that Lighting under the awnings were the best and it’s a bonus to hear that they stand behind their product indefinitely. Cost is more but, in my opinion, worth the extra outlay.
