Is there any particular reason? Conventional tractors have a drivers door so it is basically the same setup.

Thx.

Depends on the year and design - my 1999 (see signature) has a Driver's Door. Don't use it much but do enough to like having it there.

I certainly enjoyed having one on my previous gasser Adventurer. I suspect it has to do with reducing costs. Also, one less thing to squeak or rattle.

I have one on my rig, but find it "less than ideal". I'm pretty fit, but getting in and out is a bit of work. There's no place to "walk" into the door and the bottom of the door is about 4 fee above ground. The tiny 'steps' provide JUST ENOUGH footing to hoist yourself up using the ONE pull bar available.

I do use it occasionally, but generally prefer to use the entrance door like everyone else

I have a drivers door and use it all the time. I wouldn't want to be with out it. I even use it to stand outside to operate the slide and jack switches. One time, had I not, I would have damaged either the slide or the power post, as I was about 1 inch short of having enough distance.

Hi- I had one for years. The new rig doesn't. Don't miss it much except for looking up under the dash at wires ,fuses, etc-- it used to be a lot easier.
