I have been trying to find a "retaining clip" used on A&E One Step electric awnings for the past week. The clip slides into a groove on the end of the bolt which is on the awning arm elbow hinge. I have tried A&E Dometic, Mobility RV, plus a few additional surplus awning suppliers unsuccessfully. A&E tells me they do not keep parts on hand for discontinued products they gave me a part # and few phone #'s to call. Can anyone help????????

Just a suggestion....Ocean Lakes Family CG in Myrtle Beach, SC is huge and has an on-site RV repair facility. I understand they do a lot of awning repair (windy, ocean....you get the idea). You might want to give them a call to see if they have the part/s you need. I would think they have worked on every type and model of RV awning imagineable.

Home Depot, Lowes, Ace and Harbor Freight along with most Auto/Truck parts stores should have it in stock too.

That clip should be a standard hardware item at your local hardware store.

Home Depot or a hardware store, I thought this was some sort of specialty item exclusive to the awnings. Thanks again!!!!
