Looking for blower motor resistor, Ford no longer makes it

I have a 2018 Intent, built on a Ford F53 chassis. My blower motor resistor failed so I want to replace it, but I'm not having any luck finding it.

The part # is D8BZ19A706A

I can find it online, but I am hoping to pick it somewhere locally, as I am in the middle of a road trip at the moment. Ford says they no longer make it and does not have have a replacement for it.

Any suggestions?

Are you near a NAPA? O'Reilly? AutoZone? Advanced Auto?
If there's a newer version of it, they might have the cross referenced part numbers to look it up.
Odd that Ford would obsolete a part from a chassis that recent.

I've tried Carquest and O'Reilly so far. Both of them were stumped.

I see them on e-Bay.
I find it hard to believe Ford would obsolete a part for that recent a chassis.

I see the entire blower motor replacement for sale at Advance Auto Parts.
If it comes with the resistor, you might have to buy the whole unit.
Could you replace the entire blower motor, would that work?

Beyond that, a motorhome salvage or wrecking yard?
I'm stumped, too.

What has failed? Is it one speed or the whole thing failed?

A bit more about why not order it? If it is a thing you don't want to wait around where you are for the part to arrive, how about have it shipped ahead to a post office where you will be passing?
I've not done it but it is pretty common among trail through hikers to have supplies shipped to post offices along the way and they pick them up when they arrive.
You might have to do without the blower but then , that's kind of where you are now.

I couldn’t find a ford one easily, but if you have a Autozone nearby they do sell aftermarket ones.

Hope that helps?

Ford didn't supply the blower resistor. I believe Victory Climate Systems (VCS) did. The Part number you list is a 1988 part number. Aftermarket one is all you'll find, and probably what VCS used. Looks like Winnebago shows it as a VCS 11-00545?

I also have a 2018 Intent. My blower resistor stopped working, blower only working on high speed. What I found was a bad thermal fuse on the blower resistor, so I replaced it with one from eBay. A 152c 250v 10a.
These thermal fuses might be found locally at appliance or electronics parts places.
Let us know how this turns out.
