What is recommended for LiPo batts for storage - charge up and turn off or remove and keep indoors?

EQ systems - can jacks be left extended and use to reduce weight on wheels (grease/oil exposed SS for corrosion)?

The batteries do not like freezing temps if charging or discharging. The Battery BMS should prevent this from happening. Charging to 80% and protecting from freeze would be ideal.
