LEDs are Light Emitting Diodes. Diodes are one way 'valves' for electricity. If wired backwards, they won't light. I'd try switching wires first to be sure it's wired properly. You might also test that (+) and grounds are working.

Dfreiberger from the instruction sheet for the bulb.
" Note: LEDs are polarity sensitive. If the handle does not light try reversing
the connections."

The LED assembly consistes of a printed circuit board that fits in the handle (One or the other ene caps) a reflector (Like aflashlight) an LED and a 150 OhmResistor....Use a 450 ohm resistor or put 300-400 in series with it when you wire it in and the LED will last much, Much, Longer.

I added the light to my handle and wired it direct to the accent light on the floor which turns on when the porch light is on. No luck. It will not illuminate. Is there something I am missing? I assume the LED lights for the handle are 12v? Any help would be appreciated.

Lit Handle
Wow!!! It works. Who would have thought the white wire needed to connect to the black and visa versa. Now I am going to have to switch out my outside light bulb to LED so they will match. Thanks for the assistance.
