Leak found in Class C bunk

I know they are famous for developing leaks. Well on our trip last week we found a leak in ours. I isolated the location by spraying water from a hose on the front of the cab. The leak is from the seem of the plastic piece that spans across the top of the cab. It is on the last 6" from the corner. What is the recommended best way to reseal that area? Do I remove or lift the piece up and apply caulking under the seam? or just caulk the entire seam? Or a big piece of duct tape across the seam (just joking) but something to seal that joint needs to be done. When driving through the rain, the water gets pushed through that seam.

MY EWAG is rain water is being pushed upward on the nose by wind force and under the trim cover piece. I would remove that trim strip, clean thoroughly and reseal that entire seam/joint..

Called Winnebago and talked to them. They were super helpful. The leak is a the "Roof Cap"

They said no need to remove the cap, they said to clean up the edges with alcohol. Then to just seal the top edge with a self leveling sealant. They use Sika Flex 715 now but used Nuflex 311SL originally. Either will work. The bottom edge should be sealed with Manus bond 75AM.

I currently don't have a bead on the edges so I was surprised to be advised not to lift the cap off to put the sealant under the cap.
