I thought I did a good top seal — not #4 corner

Buggers! 'Of course' — I see this after a big rain event. (3-5" here). A month ago, I followed some good advice and did not use common silicone when I saw these poorly sealed joints, bought Quad OSI. I had been around boats all my life, so I thought I did a decent job.

I guess I did not clean the open area on the LR corner of my '02 Sightseer as it was open. I previously cleaned the areas with acetone and alcohol and cut the nozzle small to get into the voids. The other three look peachy. The Quad is nice and gummy, but I got careless and probably did not clean the contact area well enough.

Another one of you recommended Eternabond tape. I got enough to gift wrap this coach. This time I filled the void with 5mm neoprene wetsuit material prior to shingling the zone with Eternabond. I'd like to do both caps full length with Eternabond, but there are other projects ahead of that. I might even get to drive it one day...
