We have the MH in the sig which we purchased in Feb of this year.
The first weekend in May, we were camped in a CVS parking lot in Asheboro, NC when we had our first "disaster". When we went to pull in the living room slide, the end behind the driver's seat started to come in and the end down by the kitchen did not move. So we wound up with about 6 inches in on one side.
We have Coach Net and they send a guy who could not do anything. Meanwhile, a hole had developed in a hydraulic line and fluid went all over the parking lot.
To make a long story short, our salesman came to get the MH and somehow got the slide in far enough he could limp back to the dealer with it.
Hydraulic hose and other things were replaced then.
Now we have noticed a small amount of hydraulic fluid leaking in the storage compartment where the outside radio is. We have noticed a small amt. of fluid on the jack that is under this area and assumed the jack was leaking but upon further investigation last weekend, it was found to be coming from this area and running down onto the jack.
So we hope to take it back to dealer and have a diagnostic done. Do you guys think we have another line getting ready to go?
We have plans for Labor Day but I think they are going to have to be scrapped now. We do not want a repeat of what happened in May.
I know we are going to continue to have problems with a used unit. We had asked the dealer to inspect all lines and hoses in May but I guess it could have let go since that time.

We have a 2002 product of Winnebago....our main slide in front started out and stopped on one end then the other went out all the way....this was due to defective hoses that had been installed on the hydraulic system....later in Michigan we noticed a small spot under the rear slide...we took it to a dealer in Pa. and they replaced the hoses for the hydraulic system in the rear slide...it seems that HWH had a group of hoses that were defective...HWH/Winnebago repaired both at their expense....dont know if they would on yours or not since its over 3 years old....but try since they had a batch of bad hydraulic hoses...hope this helps

Our 2002 also developed a leak on the HWH hoses. HWH had a service bullitin on the issue which is as noted above. They replaced ours at N/C.

It is the standard "fix it if it breaks" issue, so you will have to ask for the work to be done.

HWH is very good to work with. Encourage you to contact them if the dealer gives you any hassells.

I had a hose leak under the main slide before the coach was 6 months old, a Freightliner mechanic located where the oil was coming from and determined it was a Winn/HWH problem. After a year and half while in Forest City for other repairs that dealers couldn't fix, the tech found a leak in the compartment where the outside radio is (it was small enough I hadn't even noticed it). They found it one afternoon and had to wait till next day to fix it due to time involved for disassembly (they return the coach to the customer each evening at 3:00 PM). If this is a common Winn/HWH problem they may work with you on the expense, never know - sometimes they are very liberal and other times they can be real stinkers. Good Luck.

I had the same leak problem on the living room slide and HWH replaced the hoses (also the bedroom slide hoses) because they were identified as bad (recall for bad hoses). Has not leaked since the replacement.
