HWH Slide Out Hydraulic Leak need to isolate

Greetings, My 2005 Itasca Left front Slide Out is damaged and when operating either the other 2 slide outs or the jacks, hydraulic fluid is leaking.
Can I isolate and stop the leak by opening or closing valves to the Left Front Slide out at the HWH manifold on the pump/reservoir?

My goal is to be able to use the jacks and other slide outs without leaking hydraulic fluid. I also want to avoid running too low of hydraulic fluid.

I am getting estimates on slide out repairs by end of July but don’t expect repairs until August or September and want to use the RV until then.

Thanks

In case it's helpful, this should be the HWH hydraulic diagram for your coach: MP69382. If you have the Workhorse chassis, this should be your HWH electrical diagram: MP89132. And here's the Ford chassis HWH electrical diagram: MP89252.

I see from your profile that you have a 2005 Itasca Suncruiser 35A. It's always a good idea to state all this up front so we don't have to look for it. Better yet, go to the User CP on the toolbar and set up a signature block similar to mine so it's always there whenever you post.

Back to your problem. I'm no expert but I've dealt with some HWW problems on my 2002 Suncruiser 35U. First, if the solenoids (what you're calling valves) on your pump are operating properly, there shouldn't be any pressure applied to one system (slide or jack) when operating one of the other systems. Here's a link to a resource from HWH that explains the solenoids (see 4-2.1.2):

Your best bet for some expert advice is to contact azpete via private message. He's a Winnieowner who's also an HWH employee who's helped out me and many others with HWH issues:

Thanks, I created a signature. I’ll need to go back and add that I have a Workhorse Chassis.

Not sure what they are called but I need to know which solenoid valve to turn with the nut driver in the cap to isolate lines to the LF slide out or that will work or not.
I’m trying to use the jacks and other two non damaged slide outs.
We can get buy until repairs if I can stop the hydraulic leak to stop under the left front slide.

Thanks, Rick

The diagrams in post #2 should help you locate the correct solenoid. However, considering their normal position is closed, manually closing it may not be effective.

Thanks, I’ll read about the Solenoids and try again to contact AZPETE.

Just fyi Paul Maddox (azpete) is a great resource, but I understand that he's had some health issues recently, so he may not be as responsive as he's typically been in the past.

Your HWH top manifold "A" includes your 4 "Large" Jack Solenoids. These are only on 1 side.

Your Right-Rear jack solenoid is closest to the door.

===

The smaller slide solenoids are in Manifold "B" ...and the extend slide solenoids are "forward" ... over the reservoir.

OP: Can you take pictures of your leak?

Here's the diagram you are asking about.
