HWH slide cylinder removal

hello
I have a 2001 Itasca sundancer E450 28'
I have 2 slides
the front slide is a HWH 17847 spacemaker slide.
I need to repair the rear slide.
I can not figure out how to remove the cylinder.

I think I have to take the entire rear mechanism out.
Any words of wisdom for me?

HWH has a lot of resources online, including service and installation manuals. You'll have to ID your slide, which the Winnebago parts lookup may help ID:
