HWH or Winnebago?

Slide needs adjustment. Cracks and pop's going in or out. I can't see where the cracking sound is coming from. The dash lock slide lock switch not working either. So, will be going to Iowa either Forest City or Moscow. No side or floor marks anywhere the I can see.

I'm not 100%, sure of what your asking here, but I'll guess.
HWH supplies the mechanism. Winnebago, builds the slide and installs the switches , locks and wiring.
For the problems you describe , I'd say a Winnebago shop would be your best bet for a repair.

I agree, Winnebago the best bet. Both are good but Winnebago does it all. They can get parts from HWH if needed since they are not far away. We've been to both and had good work done at both.

I've been to Forest City and had some work done (bad rear camera) and know they will get it working properly but as you said the may not have the parts and will have to order them. Is winnie still using HWH? I won't know util Monday after a few calls.

Forest City for sure! But you may want to schedule before or after GNR, which is in July.

Going to HWH. Was not happy with the leveling adjustment and the camera. Took 2 trips for the camera. Been to the rally there for the past 4 years. This is not a serious problem but the level adjustment I will take it to the folks that made the stuff. I'm not going to rag on this but I was charged 195.00 for the level adjustment and the job was not done properly. They are tech's hired by bago ind. Not attending this year. Tried to make a reservation in January for E Section and was told there's a waiting list! They have not been full in a long time. E Section is 50 amp.

Many of the sections now have 50 amp. Last fall and winter they regraded Section A and installed all new pedestals with 50 amp service. There were other sections that had new 50 amp services installed as well. You can call the WIT office to find out exactly which sections have been upgraded.
