How to re-attach trim.

I just had my 2007 Sightseer detailed and although they did a great job, I found one of the trim strips was 1/2 un-attached. See photos. For the life of me I can’t figure how it attaches and I don’t want to use a screw or rivet.

It screws up from underneath usually near or through the hinges at the top of that compartment in your photo. They are sometimes hard to see but they are there (or at least they were there at one time!) Easy to mistake them for a hinge screw as I recall. Screws rust out over time. Might have to replace them with a slightly larger screw to get it to hold.

To clarify a little more; there is a slot that runs the length of the trim on the bottom. The screws go up into that slot so there are not screw holes in the trim. As I mentioned above the screws can rust but also that slot can spread open a little wider and the screws can fall out. The screws are not in the back of the trim.
