how to dump suspension without dropping jacks

We are new to a 2016 Solei 36G, The Power Gear (LCI) hydraulic leveling system automatically manages the Freightliner chassis air suspension and so we can't dump the suspension without putting down jacks....which sometimes is our preference. Contact with Winnebago and PowerGear has so far not been helpful. Does anyone have further insights?

The solenoids that relieve the pressure of the air springs could be wired independent of the Power Gear panel. You might also wire in some diodes to prevent any feedback to the Power Gear control panel. I'd make it a spring loaded, momentary switch so you don't forget and drive off with bags deflated.

My Power Gear system has both an Auto and Manual button. Best I can remember, I thought if you select manual, the first thing it does is dump the air bags, then just turn it off. Then the next time you start the motorhome, the airbags should inflate. Hope this helps.

On the touchpad, use the up/down arrows to toggle through the options. You will have one that shows manual air bag control. Hit enter and follow the cues.

boundersteve do you have the LCI control panel with the LCD screen or the Power Gear without the LCD screen?

We have an auto and manual leveling process on our control panel.

If I use auto the system takes over, dumps the air and powers up the jacks.

If I use manual the first part of the process dumps the air when I press <enter>. When the air is done dumping the control panel gives me the option to manually extend the jacks. At that point I could just shut the system off and the jacks would remain stored.

boundersteve, I believe stik has the correct way. Here is a link to the operation guide look on page 3 in the upper left hand corner.
"When operating in the
Manual Mode, air will be
dumped from the vehicle
suspension in approximately
20 seconds"

Success!!

Here is the procedure I wrote for future use.

To dump/refill air bags.

Turn Power Gear leveling system on. Select manual, the first thing it does is dump the air bags, then just turn it off. To refill later, turn on, select manual and after the wait light goes off, press retract jacks. After control cycles the bags will slowly refill.

Why neither Winnebago nor Power Gear could advise me on this is a real disappointment. Thanks to grtharis and stik for steering me straight.
