How I spent my quarantine...
...Well, from an RV-only perspective, that is...
Our last RV trip was in late February, which seems ages ago. Like many of you, I have tried to spend the time productively binge-watching TV, ignoring household projects, eating more than I should, etc. ...Uh, I mean, INSTEAD of doing that, I spent some quality time getting the RV ready for the next trip! :-)
By now, it's the most pampered and best prepared motorhome on the planet! Over the last 4 months, here's a list of maintenance and repairs made on the Big Silver Box:
Maintenance
Chassis - multi-point inspection, and change oil/filter, and lube. (La Mesa RV)
Bettery - clean and fill chassis battery (others are maintenance free AGM).
Generator - change oil and filter. (La Mesa RV)
Propane appliances - clean and adjust burner.
Water System - Disinfect fresh water system.
Exterior - Washed and waxed entire coach, and applied 303 to roof. lubricated all locks and hinges.
Slides - Conditioned seals and moldings
Interior - Cleaned floors, windows, filters, and compartments. Retightened anything that was loose.
Repairs
Replaced broken MCD shade beside passenger seat. (La Mesa RV)
Replaced both slide motors in front passenger slide. (La Mesa RV under warranty)
Replaced water heater thermal cutoff...again! Bringing 2 spares with me.
Replaced water pump. (La Mesa RV under warranty)
Repaired damage from crows to the self-leveling roof sealant.
Modifications
Added Battery Monitor, a Victron BMV-712 with bluetooth.
Added the Charge Wizard monitor for my converter/charger.

Now we are ready to roll!
