How I spent my quarantine...
...Well, from an RV-only perspective, that is...
Our last RV trip was in late February, which seems ages ago. Like many of you, I have tried to spend the time productively –– binge-watching TV, ignoring household projects, eating more than I should, etc. ...Uh, I mean, INSTEAD of doing that, I spent some quality time getting the RV ready for the next trip! :-)
By now, it's the most pampered and best prepared motorhome on the planet! Over the last 4 months, here's a list of maintenance and repairs made on the Big Silver Box:
Maintenance
• Chassis - multi-point inspection, and change oil/filter, and lube. (La Mesa RV)
• Bettery - clean and fill chassis battery (others are maintenance free AGM).
• Generator - change oil and filter. (La Mesa RV)
• Propane appliances - clean and adjust burner.
• Water System - Disinfect fresh water system.
• Exterior - Washed and waxed entire coach, and applied 303 to roof. lubricated all locks and hinges.
• Slides - Conditioned seals and moldings
• Interior - Cleaned floors, windows, filters, and compartments. Retightened anything that was loose.
Repairs
• Replaced broken MCD shade beside passenger seat. (La Mesa RV)
• Replaced both slide motors in front passenger slide. (La Mesa RV under warranty)
• Replaced water heater thermal cutoff...again! Bringing 2 spares with me.
• Replaced water pump. (La Mesa RV under warranty)
• Repaired damage from crows to the self-leveling roof sealant.
Modifications
• Added Battery Monitor, a Victron BMV-712 with bluetooth.
• Added the Charge Wizard monitor for my converter/charger.

Now we are ready to roll!
