Help needed with Leak in Roof

We have a 2018 Navion 24d; it is raining and for the first time we noticed a slow drip of water coming through the vent fan that is in the roof near the stove & microwave. I turned on the fan and it seems to have significantly slowed the dripping. I can’t get up on the roof at night in a rainstorm with lightning (wife won’t let me for SOME reason) but I suspect there is a vent flap or something that is stuck open. No idea what that vent looks like inside- can’t remove the cover on the inside (it is on tight- fear of breaking it). I shined a light up to look through the grating and saw what appears to be a small spring that came loose (heightening my suspicion that a flap is open). Anyone experience this before? Thoughts?

Update: turns out it wasn’t a “spring” I saw inside the grating of the fan; it is actually a bolt (!).

Update to the update: in the daylight I went up on top and discovered that the entire fan cover was *gone* ......and now the loose bolt in the inside grating makes sense: the bolt got loose, fell off, and the last time we drove the RV to get propane it blew off. Now I “just” need to find out where to get a replacement cover and the proper way to remove the grating inside (which seems very hard to pull off).

Winnebago has part numbers for everything. Since your rig is so new, it should be available from Winnebago although you may be able to find what you need elsewhere for a cheaper price. Hopefully you'll be able to just get the cover. If you have to buy the whole thing, I'd suggest switching the cover and keep the fan unit in case the original fails (as long as you can do so without removing the unit from the roof). There's no point in unnecessarily disturbing the sealing of the unit to the roof.
