I applies the 1/4th inch auto/marine tape and it worked some what better in stopping the leaks. I noticed that the hatch cover door doesn’t close evenly. There is a larger gap on one side so I tried tape on the hatch door but it didn’t work as well—too much tape. I saw, on one of my numerous belly crawling inside with a flashlight that water was coming through the door hatch, apparently getting in through the vinyl strip that surrounds the door. I called around it (on the outside) and the top and sides of the door handle in hopes that this will put an end to my misery. A big thank you to all who are helping me with ideas and moral support. I’ll keep you posted on latest developments.
