We have a Voyage 2005 33V and have had constant groaning noise and vibration coming out of the couch/dining slide. We had a new screw rod put in to see if that was the issue. We had the technician at kwikee listen over the phone to the noise that it made. He ordered us a new screw mechanism. The slide worked fine for a while but now our vibration and groan are back.
Any ideas on potential cause?
Thanks in advance for your thoughts!

Can't really help you diagnose the noise but (and forgive me if you already know about them) there is a great Winnebago dealer in Rockford that should be able to help. Have you talked to Terry at Winnebago Motorhome sales on Auburn?

smlranger thanks we agree on Terry at Winnebago Rv. we bought our unit from him. My husband is the one who called Kwikee after they weren't able to resolve the issue. Now the prblem is back now that it got cold outside.

carlent, we don't like it so we are pursing answers.

Now that others have mentioned it, our LR slide moans a bit but there is no vibration.

Have you tried spraying the slide surfaces with silicone or one of those slide lubricants to see if the sound goes away?

Yes we have had the slide lubed. It was working fine and then the cold weather hit and it sounded terrible. It moves well in and out but is really noisy now. We are getting ready to store it for the winter so I guess we will have to try and resolve it in the spring. Worst case we are lucky enough to be about 300 miles from the plant so we will probably take it there then. Hopefully we can get it resolved at the factory.
Thanks to all who tried to help. I will keep you updated at a later date on this slide.
