fuel pumps

I have a 2000 Chevrolet Express 3500, Winnebago Chalet RV. V8 engine, 31 gal gasoline tank. Where can I find the correct fuel pump for this and any other information I might need. Our mechanic shop is not really getting the part. Any help would be greatly apprecieated.

check the autozone website I looked for a FP but need more info as to engine model van etc.


Here is a link for a 1 ton small block chebby. Does appear that the FP is in the fuel tank.AZ does have a locator for components but you will need to verify the info I didnt have.

AZ has a good guarantee and return policy thats why I use their parts. Prices are not bad

It’s a Chevy part. Try online sellers like Rockauto.com or any others like that. It’s not likely to be an RV specific part.

If you don't want to drop the tank you can install an in-line fuel pump and power it with the existing wires, an in-line will suck the fuel through the old in-tank pump.

2000 Is it carburetor or FI? Big difference in fuel pump as FI is High Pressure so in-line may be more work than you want.


I had to change pump in my 6.0L Chevy 4500 $$$$
