Front Cap question

So I have a Journey 39Z and was sealing the front cap. On the sides of the cap there are like 3 round screw covers. I removed the painted round screw cover and I wasn't sure what that screw held down. It appears the hole is to large and the screw is inside the cover. The cover is only like a 1/8 to 1/4 inch thick and the screw is inside that ???

Anyone that can shed some light on this would be greatly appreciated. Hope the description was good enough to understand

Perhaps attaching a photo would help. What year is the Journey? Have you looked at the parts lists for your year and model on the winnebago.com website?

I looked up your account and you have a 2009 - which has the older PDF style drawings (newer models have 3D interactive drawings).

Here's a link to your model for the "Body Group." Scroll down to see drawings and parts listing for the Front Cap.

Hopefully I did it right its nothing more than the dime size button caps that cover up each screw on the side of the cap
