Drivers side power window goes up very slowly

Any thoughts on how to lube the drivers side window on my 2004 Adventurer?

I was able to help mine, a little, by lubricating the drive cable (or whatever you want to call it). I also rerouted the cable housing that is on the "exhaust" side of the motor. It's the black tube you can see coming up from the motor below. I was able to relax the bend a bit so it moved easier inside.

If you do take your door apart to do anything, it'd probably be worth checking the voltage at the motor too when it's running. I didn't do that, but there's a chance some upgrading wiring could help if the voltage is low.

I did the same as tderonne. Helps a little but window is just slow. I help it by hand at times but always worry about burning up that small motor.

My 2005 Adventurer is slow as well. I figure it is just by design.

I've had my coach for 12 yrs now and maybe in the beginning is was faster, but for years it's been slow. I would speed it up a bit by pulling up on the top of the glass with my fingers.

About 3 yrs ago I cleaned the switch with contact cleaner and .....walla, it speed up a lot. But now it's back to it's slow speed again. I suspect the switch is underrated for the current needed, thus the contacts are wearing prematurely and cleaning is only temporary solution.

Try spraying the window tracks with silicone spray. Usually works for me.

Yup. just did it yesterday, same silicone spray I use for the slides. Sped it right up to normal. Been living with it slow for years.
