HELP!!!! I have a 2002 Winnebago Journey with a Cat 7.2 turbo. I guess I messed up something. All I did was drain the water separator at the base of the fuel filter a few days ago. Just tried to start it and it fired right up but died after about 3 seconds. Now acts like it is out of fuel. Was I supposed to shut off the fuel some where prior to draining? What is the best way to bleed the air out of the fuel lines?
There is a priming lever or manual pump on them that needs to be pumped up to re prime the system. There is a ton of info on re-priming a cat engine when you do a google search. You should always have the engine running when draining that separator so you don't lose prime.
