Drain valves for air brake tanks

Hi there: I have a 2008 Winnebago Destination 39' - I can't locate the drain valves for the air brake wet, primary & secondary tanks. Any insight would be appreciated.

There should be a couple cables by the passenger front tire for that. Might have to crawl under there and look for them.

Slide under the coach behind the right front wheel with a flashlight and awning rod. Look up into the wheel well closer to the chassis. Look for two wire cable loops. With the awning rod, hook each loop and pull on it for about 30 seconds. Then go to the drivers side and repeat
My coach has two loops on passenger side and one loop on driver's side.
The loops were very hard for me to see.

Agree with what's been stated so far. I will add that, based on the chassis manufacturer's status at the time and, the specs required by the intended coach builder, those cables, if installed, can be either coiled up and wire-tied to some component under the front end or, they can be like ours, and, are routed through the inner fenderwell, and by kneeling down by the passenger front tire, you can see THREE loops protruding from the frame area.

I've pulled on those cables at various times while we've owned the coach, which is about 4.5 years now and, I have never seen any moisture emitting from any of the valves.

I haven't checked mine in a long time so need to do that. By memory which isn't as good as I used to think it was there are two in the right front wheel well - is the third one near in or near the rear wheel well?

I assume previous replies are for the Freightliner chassis.

The Spartan chassis has automatic air tank drains, and manual drains. The manual drain cables are terminated above and in front of the LF tire on the bottom of the frame.
The wet tank has a radiator petcock, no cable.

Bob,
On our coach, I have 2 loops of cable protruding out of the frame, at the rear part of the fender well and 1 loop protruding out of the frame more towards the front of the fender well.

Yes, Scott, I got to thinking about that about 2AM while tossing and turning and I believe you have it correct.

Bob
I thought I was the only one who tossed and turned at 2AM thinking about projects

Bob and Scott, I respectfully request to join your "Tossin & Turnin" Club. I do that a lot with rv projects and repairs, especially if they carry over into the next day. My favorite is being towed somewhere I'm not familiar with and waiting for the shop to open the next day or Monday and I don't know what the problem is. I toss and turn mostly over $$$ signs and delays.

Doorguy,
You most certainly can join our "Toss and Turn" club. What's amazing to me is, you think you've done enough in the day to make you tired enough for a good nights sleep. But, is seems the older I get, the worse my "good nights sleep" goes to not-so-good. So, I think about Jeep projects, Motor home projects, House projects, and what ever else wanders into my mind at 2:00 A.M.
